Editing presentation.

In friends and other sic coms, the editing is slower and neater than other types of films and tv shows. The fact that they are slower gives us more time to understand them and realise what is going on. Where as Quantum of Solace is fast and snappy, the editing is quick and messy however it suits a action film. If this was applied to a sic com like friends or two and a half men, then it wouldn't make sense and it would be confusing.

Montage is when one imagine for example a man looking shocked and another imagine for example two people kissing, would crate a third image in the audiences head, this could be anything, the audience could think that the women was his girlfriend and is cheating or that he is just shocked they are kissing in public.
